Wondering if there are any cool mods for the stock speedo on a 1300c. Maybe change the inlay, or light color or anything like that.

I saw a pic of one that was painted black and the allen bolts had caps that were painted blue to match the bike color.

That was blueflameguy2 on the texasxriders.com board.

I'd like to change out the leds to make it glow blue or purple.

I was thinking about doing that over the winter as well. swapping out my lights in the speedo to make it more red, to match the bike.

Does anyone know if you can use or if there is a chrome gas cap system to the 1800 that will fit the 1300S/R? They did a good job finishing off that tank, but went cheap on the 1300's
