Seriously looking at the Honda VTX 1800,
Can anyone explain to me what these letters mean after the 1800
I've seen VTX 1800 C, VTX 1800 F, VTX 1800 T. VTX 1800 S, VTX 1800 N2

Can anyone explain to me the difference?

Thanks

They are all differences in the style of bike. All have the same frame, engine, transmission, clutch, etc. There is always a letter after the name so I don't think there is an 1800. The 1800S will have large fenders, spoked wheels, and slightly taller bars. The 1800R is identical to the S except that the wheels are cast not spokes. The 1800C has the stub fender in back, small fender in front, and closer to flat bars. The 1800F is one I do not know well. I think it is like the 1800C but has a different instrument housing. I did not know there was an 1800T. If this exists, the T stands for "Tour". It is like the 1800R but comes from the factory with a windscreen and soft sided saddlebags. The 1800N or 1800N2 (if the latter exists) is like an 1800R but the rear fender wraps way down around the rear wheel. There may be other differences and perhaps others can help list these.

G'day,

Vinish

Thanks for the quick reply, I am leaning towards the 1800C, I like the look compared to the larger rear fender on the 1800S

The N model in 1, 2, or 3 is just additional chrome pcs from the factory. I believe many of the models; S, C, R, T, F, N came in either the 1, 2 or 3 versions... My Honda (model #18N36) was a (1800 cc Neo version, level 3 trim, 2006 model year), but as Vinish said most of the differences were just cosmetic.. same great bike no matter what flavor...

the "F" was made 2005 to 2008... basically a "C" but digital dash, cut shorter fenders.. 10 spoke mag type wheels and the "N" mufflers... as mine is an "F"... type II..
and the "F" has LED brake/tail light.

type I (one).. gray engine.. least amount of chrome. flat gray wheels.
type II (two) black engine with polished cooling fins... more chrome... polished wheels
type III (three) black engine with polished cooling fins... still more chrome and chrome wheels...

the types apply to all VTX after 2003...
