Hello everyone: Thinking of getting a headlight modulator for my 1300R. I see a lot of different models out there. Does one fit the VTX better than other, plug in vs. wire in etc. Thanks, Jeff

I just bought and installed one last night. Got it from the stealer's on hand stock...
Pathblazer by Kisan Technologies.
Right at $100.
Plug and play, three prong for the H-4 bulb.
Hardest part was figuring out where to put the sensor...might still move it, but there are a couple of adjustment holes in the R's headlight cover. I used one of these to fish the sensor's wire through, then wrapped it behind the headlight, snaked it up the clutch cable, and zip tied it there. Might move it eventually.
Anyway, the thing was a snap, unplug connector, plug this thing in...very easy, and works great.
The book that comes with it explains how the modulater IS legal...I've only had it on a day or two, but it really does look like an emergency vehicle's wig wag lights, I can see where that could be confusing for some.
Hope this helps, if you absolutely need pics, let me know, I'll do some after work.

Kisan Pathblazer just like Bubba says. I put the daylight sensor behind the left side cables with a tie-wrap. It is not visible but still out where it can pick up daylight. If all goes well I may drill the back of my headlight housing and just do a thru-mount with the little brass head showing. That would require me removing my shield so for now it is where it is.

Thanks guys.... just ordered the pathfinder from Kisan. I know this doesn't make up for good defensive riding, but I've had more close calls this past month than in 25 years of riding. Maybe just more cars. And yeah... the cartoons... when I was a kid they were the best. Best artwork, storylines, humor than anything today. Brought back good memories. Maybe I'll check out the cartoon network with my grandchildren this weekend. Safe riding all. Jeff

I got the Kisan P115W for my 2006 1300R VTX. It is plug and play. I routed the sensor out the back of the headlight bucket up the right throttle cables and squeezed it between the top / bottom cables. I used tiny wire ties to keep the cable where I want it. It works great! I know of a few times I did not get passed in front of me. I have the Triple Wammy for the tail lights. I want to be seen. I carry the Federal DOT guidelines accepting the Modulator in all 50 states. Just in case I run across a 'Barney Fife" that does not know the law. So far I have been lucky.
