Hi
I'm thinging buy heated grip for VTX 1300. Just little worried about grips diameter /circumference, because my hands arent biggest one.My grips are now 38 mm (~1,5 in) diameter and dont whis much larger.

There are few options what i'm thinking.
Cloud someone know what are those grip outhet diameter ro where i cloud find info?

I have the Avon grips, but not the heated ones...been eyeballing them though. Avon is definitely the better quality manufacturer of the two you mention.
While looking for heated grips, I came across one style where the heating element actually goes inside the handlebar, you don't have to change the grips at all. Since I love the Avon grips I have already, I was thinking about getting these ones that go inside the bars.
I guess they have to go on a relay though, otherwise they could accidentally be left on when I leave the bike.

I think heated grips on a motorcycle is a waste of money and everyone that I have talked to that has them or knows someone that has them, has said the same thing. They may keep your hands warm on the palm side, but unless you have a fairing, the wind chill, when riding down the highway, will keep the top of your hands cold. Get yourself a pair of Gerbing heated gloves and be money ahead, they do a good job.

I order Avon’s now just waiting post, it take some weeks to reach Finland.
Wind is not big problem, because I have Tsukayu Fairling.

Now Avonen grips installed and tested.
A week ago Sunday in riding 250 km 10 C temperature & rain. Was enough to to use power level 2.

I am very pleased :cool:
