Greetings. This is my 2nd VTX and about the 40th bike over the past 20 years. I may just have to keep this one awhile. I bought a 2007 1300S off the original owner. It is nearly stock except for a few small things I've added. I will get pics up soon, just haven't had a chance yet. I used this site a ton the last time I owned an '04 1300R but never posted. I guess I better chip in a bit when I can. I used the experts advice here regarding the Clayton mod and did some drilling on the stock pipes this past weekend. Let's just say it is WELL worth the 30 minutes time. I now do not constantly hear the little chirps/rattles/etc. from the engine that seems to be so common on all these bikes. Odd that Honda has an engine that isn't as quiet as all the Shadows, Magnas, and other bikes I have owned. Oh well, enjoy the ride....I know I am!
