Hello to all, been on here about 3 wks and just now getting around to posting here. Love this site, it has already been a lot of help to me. Especially like to tip on putting the walmart lights on the front of my bike. I have the lights already and will start that project one day soon I hope. I have been riding for about a yr now, started on a shadow 750 and 3 wk ago bought an 04 vtx 1800c. The bike I bought needs some cosmetic work done to it so will be a ongoing project. Its has a dent in the tank so anybody that has any reccomedations on how to approach that issue would be greatly appreciated. Do I use a normal bodyshop or it there somewhere I should send it.

Been a couple threads recently about guys trying to use air pressure to pop out dents in gas tanks, with disastrous results...The gas tanks are made from thin sheetmetal and won't take air pressure...Best way to fix it is with good ol' body filler and sand it smooth...Got a couple dings in my tank that a dare anyone to locate without using a magnet...I filled them and fixed them myself, and even I can't find them now....
