Hey Everyone! Just bought my first vtx today and already in love with it. New to the forum so wanted to say hello! A little bit about the bike, it’s got Cobra Dragster pipes, detachable windscreen, saddlebags, new Mustang seats, as well as I think it’s a Cobra backrest, and the darkside tire on it. Thinking I’m gonna wait until the front tire wears down to change it out for a full set. If y’all have any opinions on what first mods you recommend for better performance as well as some cosmetic stuff, I’d love to hear what y’all have to say.

Congrats on the bike. We love pictures so please do not hesitate to share them with us. I recommend changing ALL fluids including brake, hydraulic clutch, main oil, rear drive, and coolant. Check age of tires using the label on the sidewall of each. If older than ~5-7 years or if there is evidence of cracking or excessive checking on the sidewalls, replace them immediately.

For anyone who is reading this and see's the backrest in my pictures, is it an OEM backrest? if not can someone tell me the brand? thanks.
It looks like a Hondaline Deluxe, But there are many knockoffs.

As 07blackcherry says, it appears to be a Hondaline OEM or a knockoff, which I've never seen or even knew existed.
