Been watching site for a few weeks went out last week and bought 2006 1300R.Only been able to ride 23 miles so far but I love this bike-first big bike for me.Question what crash bars and windshield seem to work the best on this bike. Thanks

hey congrats on the bike ... skim thru the forum here and you will find a wealth of info and product reviews.. everyone has such broad oppinions on the best it pretty much just comes back to personal preferance and style my self i prefer none but i am a minimalist. but when i do some highway ridin i use a memphis shades handle bar mount windsheild think it a demon or somethin or another. enjoy

Memphis Fa ts and Cobra bar. Cobra was a pain to put on.

Welcome and congrats on the new ride. I have the Showchrome bar. I like it because it projects forward a little but is pretty good size. A PITA to put on but looks to be good quality. National cycle, Cobra and Linby are other choices. Good luck and welcome to the forum.
