Hiya Everyone. Been lurking for a couple weeks now and figured it was time to introduce myself. Just bought my VTX a month ago and so far have about 2300 miles on it. I told myself I was buying it to save on fuel costs over my truck and so far I do a little dance when it only costs me $ 14 to fill up as opposed to $75 in my truck ( the clerk at the station seems to be entertained). I am already learning quite a bit from this forum and a few others and I am sure to be scraping your brains for information before long when it comes to mods. And since I didnt mention before I bought an '05 1300 S with 4000 mi on it, so far its pretty well stock except the Kury grips and the Clayton mod I did to it. So let the spending spree begin.

so how do you like the VTX with the clayton mod? What bike did you have before?

The clayton mod is a prety good alternative to shelling out the cash for aftermarket pipes. didnt make it too loud ( my neighbors appreciate it since I work odd hours) but gave it a deeper mellower tone. I had a volusia before.. Nice difference.

Welcome....I did the Clayton mod, its nice, but just talked my wife into buying me pipes for our anniversary woohoo.......
