Well guys, I did it. I picked up my 06 VTX 1300R today. Actually I didn't pick up anything. My local dealer rode it home for me at 23 degrees. I appreciated him doing that. It was bone cold and he suggested a nicer day for my maiden voyage.

I chose the Candy Black Cherry over the black and I know I made the right decision. It's beautiful. Thanks for everyones input. I will be using you guys for lots of advice I'm sure.

That's great Doc,

You made the same choice that I did. I love the Candy Black Cherry. Remember, break it in right. What a great Christmas Present. I reccomend finding a large parking lot on your first ride and get use to the bike there. That way you can practice without the distraction and danger of the cages. Enjoy and ride safe!

Cowman theres a large church parking lot 1/4 mile from my house. Thats exactally what I am going to do. I just wish the thermometer didnt say 24 degrees today. UUGGHHHH!!
