I have a 2006 VTX 1300C and have ordered a cobra short sissy bar for it. It has saddle bags already on it and as far as I can tell, based on the online destructions from Cobra, the sissy bar needs to be installed using the same access points as the saddle bag brackets. Can anyone give me some advice before I jump into the project?:hmm2:

Worst case scenario, is you might need to get longer bolts, but it looks like my current set up, so shouldn't be any major problems.

Dave, When Cobra sent my sissy bar they also sent the bolts, but by the time I put in the bracket and bolt it to the sissy bar the bolts were to short. Was no problem, I just went down and got (4) more bolts from Ace hardware 1/4 longer to fit inside the sissy bar .... worked fine --good luck.
