Is it overheating?

Hello all. New sub here. I have two motorcycles. One is a 2020 Fury and the other is a 2003 vtx1800R which I bought recently. The Vtx needed so much maintenance work. Plugs were basically black and the one plug on rear right was fouled out big time. The air filter was still original and had oil at the bottom. I noticed the coolant was low so I went ahead and flush and refill but I’m not sure if it’s overheating. The issue I’m having is that the fan is always on now. The coolant in the bottle will fill up but won’t overheat. No temp light will come on. As soon as the bike is off, the coolant from the bottle will start to get sucked out back to the low line. I tried to bleed it by leaving the cap off and letting it run but as soon as the bike is warm, it starts to push coolant out and basically throws it all up. When I turn it off, the coolant drops.
So am I overheating in a way that maybe I still have an air pocket? Could it be something else?

Sounds to me like you may still have an air bubble in there. I just did the radiator on my 1800 and it took a bit to get all of the air worked out. On my 1800 the coolant reservoir is on the left side of the engine and is shaped similar to the air box. I am assuming your reservoir must be under a side cover?

I think I got it fixed. So I let it sit overnight and the coolant in the reservoir didn’t go down. This morning I check the filler and the coolant was a little low but was visible. So i topped it off and rode it hard. Fluid stayed the same and the fan barely comes on as it should
