LoL, I know some of you guys will think Im nuts and tell me my bike will get jacked. So far none of my friends have figured it out though.

Many of you have likely seen this before ( I didnt invent this by any means) but I know everyone loves photos. Besides maybe some of you havent seen this.

I basically got a chrome cap from a guy on another forum and added a key to it. Had to cut the key shorter and JB welded it is. Wished I used the quickset though. I didnt do the best job, but I got an extra one for a second try, I know it will be better this time. Well here are the pics.

That's a pretty slick little mod, I'm going to have to get me a spare key made and try something similar. Altough I couldn't leave it in all the time. I'm too protective, or was that paranoid for that..

Yeah, using the grip end works great too. I liked that idea but wanted something a little different. So far I like it, looks alot better then having the key hanging out and mine is small enough to put in the ol' pocket really easy.

That is a clever idea. I am too paranoid to leave it in all the time, but I still like the idea.

Geez, who knows GG, you may have saved me, Ill have to check and see if it will reach. I didnt consider that at all. What if I was out of gas and it didnt work. Ill go check right now. Good call man!!

I actually think the grip cap looks a little better the way it covers it all more but this one is small and fits in my pocket better. When I change my grips I think Ill make another out of the grip end.

I used a shift. Its so big that it won't work on the steering lock. I carry an extra key on me and use it to unlock the gas cap and the steering lock. Never take it out, and if some one tried to steel it they go in circles.
