Anybody around here going to do the LOE1000 this year? My brother and I will be heading to ABQ (actually Los Lunas) for this year's event. Our parents live in Albuquerque so may get some visiting done too. Here is the link:
2008 Land of Enchantment 1000
This is a 24 hour, 1000 mile scavenger-hunt-ish bike rally. Not a lot of bikes - the organizers don't expect more than 50, but if you finish on time you will qualify for the IBA Saddle Sore 1000 Award - and they do all the paperwork. No receipts, affidavits, just riding and a few side trips.
