I just got back from a 1400 mile trip after changing out my bars. It's also the first trip with my Ultimate Big Boy w/drivers backrest. What a difference. On the last day I did 435 miles. May not be a lot to some of you, but before the changes a 250 mile day made me feel like I was about to die. The bars come just bellow my shoulders now about 2-3 inches. Love the feel and look. I'll post some pics of the bike and trip when I get a chance.:drunk:

A few pics of my latest trip to Southern Idaho and Northern Nevada, with my new seat and bars. The rock pics are at a place called Balanced Rock about 15 miles west of Buhl, Id. The base is only about 2ft by 3ft so you can get an idea of how big this thing is.:drunk:

Nice pics!

What is the height of the apes? I'm looking at 13". What did you have to add for cable length? Also, what about electricals, and front brake line? (Not brake cable)

Thanks.

Ray
The Bars are Flanders Original Apes. 12.5" rise, 10" pullback, 34" wide. If memory serves I went +10 on all cables and lines. Ordered cables from Barnet, had lines made locally.:drunk:

Just a quick question, do the bars lean toward you more I have the big boy seat and I feel like I have to stretch to get to the bars I really want some that are closer to me so I can lean back farther. Also did any of the cables fit or did you have to replace them all mainly throttle cable ?

I had the same problem with the Big Boy seat when I got it, hence the bars. If you look closely at the pics you can see that the bars are in perfect line with the forks, which IMO gives it a cleaner look than pushed forward or pulled back. The grips are closer now so it's a lot more comfy. I replaced all cables and lines, +10 on all of them. Ordered cables from Barnet, had lines made locally at a hose shop.:D
