Does anyone know where I can get a clear or smoked license plate cover?

I have been on almost every site I can think of and cannot find one.

Don't forget, to make matters worse, Ohio is one of 3 (I think) states that use a different bolt pattern for their plates than everyone else. Gotta love it.........

why not go to a plastics shop in your area and have them cut one for you. Then you can pick the shade you want and have them drill it also.

Yea, the heck with the smoked plastic... what you need is the shiney prism-type reflectors... the little ones... they look decorative/innocent, but when the "flash" goes off all the camera sees is a big white spot where the license plate is.

Being a law officer myself, Diddo what Toadman said about local laws. I know in many states a tinted or smoke cover can be considered illegal display or unlegible plate. Not usually a big deal but is something to we can use if we are looking for a bigger payoff. I was stopped for a smoke cover on my pickup several years back.
