You will love the batwing!:cheers: One of the best mods I have done to my '06 1300C. Hardest thing was to decide on the windshield, I ended up going with a black 5" from Memphis Shades. I wanted a solid black one and that was the tallest one I could get. I'm only 5'6" so it works out for me. :mosh: Only downside, for some, is that there are no provisions for audio. Doesn't bother me, I enjoy listening to the music from the 2 cylinders underneath me!!

Great addition! I got the tallest windshield for maximum comfort (which happens to be level with my nose) and love it. I also added the lowers. Only downside for me is that you have to wash it after almost every highway ride; it's quite the bug catcher.

I disagree they now have a Hogtunes unit that is really loud especially for the Batwing. The part number is MSA1. Goto MandMcycles.com Less than 300.00...

I think the point was, if you don't want the tunes get the MS Batwing, and that the motor is the only music a he needs.

For the price of the hog tunes, and the price of the complete MS Batwing set-up you could get into a really nice fiberglass, or otherwise, fairing that is designed to accomodate a automotive stero.

Like the others, I also enjoy my MS Batwing. I did add the tri-bag pouch on the windshield and like the look it gives as well as the extra storage. Great spot for ezpass, sunglasses, etc.

Just put winglets on and will see how effective they are this afternoon.

Exactly my point, one of the reasons I enjoy riding is not being bothered with the radio, lol. Sound of the wind and the engine beneath me is all I want to hear.

If you bought the complete package then it will come with the plates ,mounts ,fairing and choice of windshield. I paid extra for the lowers. You will love it ,, huge improvement over memphis fats. Only thing that was hard to adjust to was not being able to see the front tire but after a few rides it's second nature.
