Perhaps not metro east but hour and half north near Jacksonville, IL. I ride alot on the river roads down to kampsville, grafton, and alton. Like to do a ride with fellow VTX'ers sometime as I just acquired an '06 vtx 1300C. I'm ridin Sat. (10-6-07) destination unknown and I don't care I just want to ride. Anyone??

I'm from Springfield, and like to ride the river road area from Alton up to Kampsville. Another ride that is enjoyable for me is Crossing the Miss river @ Quincy and riding down to Hannibal Mo. And from there taking rt 79 down to Louisiana Mo. Very scenic ride on the west side of Miss river.

Anyone down more the Southern IL way -- like Carbondale, Anna/Jonesboro, Alto Pass, McClure, Olive Branch, Thebes, etc? I'm across the river in Cape Girardeau, would like to find some folks to ride with or attend some events....
