I have a '05 1300c and am looking at the pdf installation instructions for the 2 piece sport touring seat. They say that the passenger seat fastens in 2 places onto the fender (one just behind the driver seat and one in front of the tail light). Problem is that I only have the one attachment point (by the tail light). Are these instructions wrong, and the front of the passenger seat attaches to the rear of the drivers seat, or am I missing the front fender whole from the bodywork before my custom paint? Thanks for any info.

If I remember correctly, the Mustang pillon attaches using the hex bolt on the top of the rear fender then there is a tab at the front of the pillion that slips into the back of the drivers seat.

That's the way it works on my bike to, push the forward tab in and a bolt thru the rear bracket into the fender.
