I used my thumbnail to lift a corner of the tank sticker and then peeled it back SLOWLY. You may also be able to get away using a clean, thin plastic spatula (like the ones used to putty drywall) to lift a corner. Or, you may be able to use dental floss or fishing line to get underneath the decal while someone else is lifting it. I like the fingernail approach because you don't risk scratching the clearcoat as easily. Whatever tactic you choose, default applying pressure toward the decal instead of the tank.Hey guys any suggestions on getting those stickers off safely. I too need to remove the ones on my tank but have been hesitant because I do not want to scratch the tank all up.
