Well, according to the wiring diagram the "A" fuse should control the headlight both high and low beams, the "B" fuse should control the meter and tail lights and the "D" fuse the Turn, Horn, stop functions! So what you found doesn't make much sense, having said this I am not saying that this is not possible, but if you would like to pursue this farther feel free to PM (personal message) me and we can work through this.

check the wires....you could have a loose ground. if you have done any mods to the wiring, go over it very carefully. remember this....on this bike...the simplest is the bestest….it's probly something you overlooked.....

 

Jim, thanks for your response. I don’t know a whole lot about it, but it doesn’t make sense to me either. The first fuse from right to left (A?) is labeled “headlight”. This fuse isn’t blown, but the headlight doesn’t come on either. The next 2 fuses (B & C?) from right to left are the ones blowing. I may not have time to work on it for a week or so but I’ll message you if I still haven’t gotten it fixed.

 

You're having a ground issue. Check your wires and look for a common ground point.
