Hello,
My name is Joe "Zombie" Schell. I am in Clearwater, Florida. I am new to biking let alone my VTX. I have always been interested in motorcycles and have always want to ride one. One day i walked into a bike shop just to browse and i heard a saying that changed my life. The guy said "Why tip toe thru life to end up safely at the grave." I told him he was right and bought my 0 miles 07 vtx 1300s. At this point i have never sat on a motorcycle. So i owned my bike and road it around my complex for 3 weeks before i was able to get my license. I am not a gear head in any way so i am slowly learning the mechanics of the bike. But i will say that i love it so far right now. :mosh:

Welcome to the Cafe from Wisconsin, Zombie!

First, congrats on the new bike. Also, I would HIGHLY recommend finding an MSF course in your area. It is the best money you will spend and will make you a better rider. I had a bike back in the day and took a lot of time off. I just got back into it and took the course........again. Very glad I did.

You are in the right place to get any answers you need for any issues with your bike.

Welcome from IL.

Like you, I just bought a bike and rode it around until I felt competent enough to take the test. It works well.

Just be aware, do search around and read what you can on motorcycle safety. While you can get your license relativity easily, there is a lot to know about proper braking such.

Nevertheless, I don't want to dampen your mood. Just wanted to make sure you are taking due diligence. (it's fun to ride, especially safely. )

Regards,
Frank
