I've met some Chi-town folks as well just more from easy of the border. Probably because nobody has ever had a tech session to my knowledge in Illinois. That's where you get to meet folks and make friends.

Guess we might need to fix that oversight sometime in the near future. I have most of what I would need to host one, I have the space, I have the desire, what I don't have are all the tools needed! Hell, I even have Gonzo living about an hour away and I hear he is quite vital. Not sure though, if we could get about 50 bikes we might double the size of my town and upset the natives.

Only 2 weeks left until I (and 2 friends) start out for Sturgis on August 2nd. If anyone is going and wants to ride in a group, you are certainly welcome to join us! Please respond if interested.

Sturgis 2013 was an awesome ride. We rode a total of 2,958 miles from Northwest Chicago to Sturgis and back. We took over 700 pictures of our trip. I would go again and again.

The itch to ride is so bad I'm not waiting for spring. Seems the worse the snow and cold are, the tougher it is to deal with. Cabin fever doesn't usually hit me until the end of Fe. The time we have three 40 degree days in a row and no precipitation and I'm going. Maybe not far, hell maybe just around the block 10 or 20 times. (but it beats sitting on the bike in the garage making noises)

I'm going to change the oil tomorrow just so I can do something with my bike. At least I'll start it for a little bot to warm it up. I usually get a few rides in during the winter, this one has been brutal.

Dec 2014 here now and I'm looking forward again to the 2015 riding season. I'm also planning my ride to Sturgis again for their 75th Anniversary, which promises to be one of the most attended motorcycle rally.
