Thanks alot! Finally got them on, holy crap, alot louder than I pictured…it’s true what they say about a video not doing it justice as far as the sound. Couldn’t get the old gaskets out of the head so I ended up leaving them and no leaks at all…I’ve got a new set if need be. As far as cobra, very well packaged and it all went together as described..very happy with cobra! Now for the Monster baffles lol. I will say, she does have a loud crack to it now when I snap the throttle…it sounds very good, just going for as deep and loud as I can get. As for performance, don’t notice any gains right off the bat, but she’s lean anyway. Messed around with the air/fuel mixture knob but I’ve still got some stumble when I just slowly roll into it off idle. Going to do the SCAR mod and probably change to a 58 pilot for starters.

Those gaskets are a 1 time only crush type. They should have come out. You tried cutting corners, and may be sorry in the future. Did you use a couple flat washers under the exhaust nuts? The aftermarket exhaust flanges are thinner than OEM, and are easily bent into a curve when torquing down. This reduces your chances at a good seal even with NEW exhaust gaskets. GL.

Agree with the loudness part. My son in law jumped a little when I fired it up for him. He said he didn't know a Honda could sound like that. I had to put an additional heat shield on the section that goes down at about a 45 degree angle for protection. After a good ride don't go inside put shorts on and then try to back it into the garage.
