Hi everyone - I'm new to the forum and not even quite sure if this will post properly...not exactly tech oriented 
. Anyway, I just upgraded to a VTX1300R 3 weeks ago from a Honda Shadow 750 ACE. The VTX is a perfect upgrade from a 750. Not too much bike to handle, but wow :icon_eek:, what a difference in power and handling characteristics! I got an '05 VTX for a good price and it wasn't an expensive upgrade after selling my '98 ACE. Too bad I didn't upgrade sooner. My wife is much happier on the back, especially because the previous owner had Mustang seats installed. Already have about 2,500kms (1,700 miles??) on the bike. Based in northern Canada so the bike helps to make the most of a short (4 to 5 month) riding season.
