Hello all, My name is Tim and I just took the plunge and bought my X, it's a 05 1300R (will post pics soon).

Like I stated, I live in South Bend, work at a software company in IT. I have wanted a bike for a long time and finally decided to do it..
Hope to learn a lot from this site, so will do more reading / searching than posting for a bit, but I will be here..

hello from the showme state. I would suggest making the 30 mile jaunt to Bassdudes from above, he is one of the most respected members on the site and runs a small in-home bike shop. with a bike with that few miles, it means that it has been sitting for most of it's life. sometimes that is not a good thing and at bare minimum you need all fluids changed, plugs and tires looked at. just my .02 cents on the matter.

he is for sure a straight shooter and a really fair price, don't take it to a dealer they will stick it to you.
