Necessity is the mother of induction and I am honored to be inducted into the VTX Cafe. It all started with an ISO Grip, an over zealous neighbor and a throttle sleeve that obviously was not idiot proof. Thought I'd try and find a plain, old replacement sleeve so I visited the cafe. No luck with the sleeve but the Cafe looks promising. So here I am for a few days until the part arrives complete with a factory grip that will have to be removed prior to installation. Not a bad deal for 30 bucks. If anybody has a question about removing grips, I can definitely tell you what not to do. Here's a hint: don't listen to your neighbor (who is really a great guy but not too bike savvy). Then again neither am I apparently. Cheers.
