So before I even really got much of a chance to talk to anyone about it, I drilled my pipes this morning. WOW what a difference. My neighbor came over to see what was going on when I had it idling in the garage because the sound was so different. I LOVE THIS SOUND!

Drilled Pipes

Yeah, I know that DAR. You're 100% right. And it doesnt help at ALL that I went on a ride for bike blessing today and a guy was riding with a VTX 1300C that had jug huggers, a hypercharger, etc. on his bike. Yeah, this'll keep me content for a while, but not long, I'm sure.

by the way, What's involved in the pair valve modification? I'm relatively new to the inner workings of motorcycles (though I've been working on cars all my life, including building motors) but I'm curious to know what it is, what you change on it, and what the changes do to benefit the bike. Anyone out there want to explain it to me? Thanks!

Pair Valve

Thanks for the tip, X. That's part of the reason I don't plan on going crazy with the mods on this bike for a little while. I need to figure out what's gonna give me the best HP gains and best sound.

Use caution, if you plan on adding a HPP fuel management you will need the pair valve, I removed mine and I may be re-installing it since I'm probable going to the HPP.
:D
I'm running a HPP on my bike.
I installed it a couple years ago.
Still works fine.
Yeah, I still have my pair valve system too.
I never saw a good reason to remove it.
Removing it doesn't improve power or how it runs.
My bike does not decell pop.
