New pipes.. WOW.. Sideburners!! (sound clips added)

Well, I finished installing my HK Sideburners exhaust last night and all I can say is WOW! I had drilled the stock pipes and that made it sound a little better but now it's like the spirit of the bike has finally been set free! They sound so good! It's loud but not obnoxiously loud.. well, maybe just a little obnoxious but hey.. I love it! If anyone is thinking about installing aftermarket exhaust on your bike but can't quite decide, DON'T WAIT!!

Only picture so far is one in the parking lot at work showing it off to some of the guys but I know the rules, no pic = didn't happen.= so here it is :mosh:

Mine will set off car alarms 2 blocks away if I pull the quiet baffle out of it.

Hey did you pull the 2 bolts behind the rear pipe that are in the way?

Those sideburners are very sharp pipes, the only thing I don't like about them and the reason I didn't go that way is it makes valve checks a pita. But they do make your bike look great!!

That's why i asked him about the two cover bolts. you can remove those two and not have too take off the exhaust when you do the valves.

For whatever reason, mine only covered one bolt and it's not completely covered, probably could have gotten it out with a ball end allen wrench but yes, I took it out.. thanks to Spoiler for that HUGE time saving tip! :cheers:

Thanks Mondorah! I get excited when I pass a big truck or ride under an overpass, I know I'll hear the sound reverberated off them! Bet they do sound good in a parking garage.. I'll have to check that out! :mosh:
