My name is Ken. I live in the Atlanta area. I just took the rider course and got my license. I have a 2005 Honda VTX 1300R. I have been riding it around my neighborhood practicing and getting stable on it before venturing out too far. Once I feel solid on the bike I will start looking for places to ride. I hope to get out and meet some people and go on some group rides!

Ken, welcome aboard from SE Texas! :cheers: Find a large church parking lot in your area where you can practice turns, figure 8s, quick stops, etc. Then...practice, practice, practice even after you start venturing out. Ride safe.

Welcome to the cafe from S.Fla, get comfortable, parking lots are great places to practice your 8, close turn, stopping and going, just like the class. it's also a great place to practice when you start riding 2 up, meaning with a passenger. i spent some time by Dunwoody and have a second cousin up in Cummings, worked by the circle ; enjoy your ride, :choppersm
