Well....I spent the $$$. I ordered an Ultimate Big Boy w/ Drivers backrest. I can't wait to get it, although it's going to be a month or two before I can use it. I think it's going to look sweet. I got it with red ostrich inlays, red stitching, and instead of the "Ultimate X" on the back of the dirvers seat, I got a Red Dragon with a green eye. This of coarse will make it non returnable, but I've heard so many good things about Ultimate...I'm not worried. My biggest concern is that there's going to be too much red. We'll see.......

My Mustang Vintage Sport pushes me too far forward and I feel cramped. Also my feet keep hitting the engine guards when breaking....causing, what I feel, is an unsafe condition.

Nope....here it's coming Saturday night into Sunday morning. I have my snow thrower all gased up and plenty of musle relaxers on hand.

My sister lives in West Milford and they were supposed to get a foot over night. I guess the weather guessers were wrong again.

Good thing you don't have to use a shovel, you'd need the heavy duty pain killers.

My problem is I have no where to put the snow. I have to do the driveway first by putting all the snow in the backyard, then blow all the sidewalk snow into the driveway...and I have a lot of sidewalk to cover, then do the driveway again. It's a real pain in the butt, but it's the best system that I can come up with.

Funny, I haven't heard about any possible snow hitting last night. Since the beginnining they were calling for snow Sat. into Sun.

My seat came in today. Ultimate does very nice work. I can't wait to try it out...hopefully in a month or two.

What do you guys do with the perfectly good stock seat? E-Bay?

I took off my stock seat when it had about 300 miles on it...sold it for $75 to a member of the VTXOA who was going to recover/rework it. I was going to save it, but I needed the space and $$$ for another hobby. So, I took what I can get....and it seems the $50-$75 is about the going rate.

Right now I have the Mustang Vintage Sport, but I might hang on to it it for a little bit.



I'd like to break it in watching TV, but my wife won't let me bring my bike into the living room.

I understand about not having a Garage! I lived in a apartment for 4 yrs(and waited to get my vtx) till I got my house in early December, FINALLY went to buy the bike on the 24 of december!
