Hi the left rear turn signal got damaged, I thought it would be easily removable but I can’t figure it out? Any help for someone who is not very handy would be great help. I can’t find any how to videos
It would be much easier to do if you remove the rear wheel. As Blaine C said, you will need to remove seat, unplug wires, they feed through a grommet in the rear fender and then are held in place under the fender by metal tabs which will need need to be bent out slightly to remove wires from under the fender. The other alternative is to cut the wires on old blinker close to blinker, cut wires long on new blinker and solder/splice new blinker to old wires left in place. Your bike, you make the choice
Hey all I did the scar mod yesterday went great bike starts right up on cold starts. Seems to be running great but my rear cylinder exaust pipe is still melting a cover. Do you think I'm still runing lean or is it a clearance issue I have about an inch of clearance from my cobra pipes to that...
I was on a very extensive ride. About 2 hours then an hour stop for lunch then I rode for another 2 hours then I stopped, upon stopping i lowered the kickstand to shut off the bike while in gear and got off to take off my jacket. About 3 minutes later I hopped back on, put the kickstand up...
I'll start here too...let's see those 1300's!!
I can't take much credit for this beauty, Green Ghost did most of the work. We have chromed the the reservoirs, levers, and added the Tornado intake. Just added a Saddleman seat (need photos of that).
I have 2003 1300s with just over 80,000 miles on it.
A friend of mine bought an 08 1300 T model that had about five thousand miles on it when he got it.... He sold it to me with 6029 miles on it.
I put 13.5" mini apes
On the 03.... I thought I would go a little higher with 18in on the 08...
