Well I just got back from a short 1500 mile trip through Northern California. You guys who live and ride there are living the dream. Some of the most beautiful country I have ever seen. Lassen National Park was awesome, the ol vtx didn't mind being at 8200 ft, lakes still froze over and that beautiful dark blue glacier water...wow...The people I met were crazy nice, if I got my map out, usually had a crowd of people telling where I should go. Shot over to weaverville and the trinity river, very nice, hwy 3 if I remember right, the 5 mph curves were nuts though, but it was ok, i thought I was going to wear my floorboards out
. My point is, you guys and gals who live there, don't ever take it for granted, and if ya haven't ridden there do it, just don't ride at night.........didn't take long to figure out, when I saw a brush guard on a nice foreign sedan (deer deflector!} Going back soon.....on a side note, I get up the next morning after getting home, and my wife fires up her bike, then comes in the house, and I say hey, where ya off to! Oh I joined the patriot guard...........
