I may be late, being you posted in November, anyways.
Sounds like your talking about the manifold, there is no coolant there. There is two coolant lines that run to the bottom of the carburetor. That's more likely where your leak is.
Thanks for the advice. The leak was from the o-rings that seal the pipe that runs between the two cylinders. I tried doing it myself but it was apparent the o-rings would be difficult to remove and replace. I took it to a repair shop and got the o-rings replaced along with a faulty foot brake light switch. Cost about a couple of hundred but the bike is now 100%. The problem now is, it's much too cold to ride.
