While changing spark plugs the spark plug boot came off of the wire. Something in the boot busted to. Well I noticed that the wire had a screw thing on the end of it. Can I just buy the boot to replace it or do I need to replace the hole thing, And is the hole thing going to consist of the coil plug wire like my 74 cb 350F. Or dose the wire come off the coil.

Just scew the wire back onto the boot and you'll be fine.
If you were to get replacements, they come in 2 pcs. anyaways and you'll do the same thing.

Same thing happed to me two years ago. Pushed it back together and ordered a replacement wire. I have yet to replace it....no need to. From what I've heard, it's a common problem with the X.

Just don't get in a habit of pulling on the wire, if it is to tight just use something to help pry the boot off the plug
