my favorite, Bomber, jet powered... North American XB-70 Valkyrie, only REAL supersonic Bomber.
second favorite Bomber and propeller driven (pusher) ... Northrop YB-49, "The Flying Wing" the jet version is number 3 to me

The P-51 was built for endurance and range. The SR-71 was actually built for the same - long range recon.

With a tank that small this is more akin to a rocket plane. The ME163 'komet' or X-15 - though I doubt a vtwin is going to be THAT fast much beyond freeway speeds...

no one could confuse it for any other bird. one of a kind style.


something about me. love the far left and love the far right., as in the A-10 Thunderbolt (Warthog), another good bird. for todays world. well in/out/in of retirement.

it does not have to look good, it don't have to be fast. but they will get the job done. but the F4U is a good looking plane..
