I'm thinking about getting this quick-release set and backrest. My question is, has anyone used this along with the Honda saddlebags? My saddlebag mounts are on the 2 forward bolts of the fender rail, and the backrest mounts are on the 2 rearward bolts. I printed off the installation instructions from National Cycle's website, and it looks like they should work together. Just thought I'd check with the experts out there before spending my $$. Thanks.

It sounds like I'm in the same boat as you. I've seen that same backrest and have thoght about getting it since I prefer the solo seat look, but when riding 2 up, it's just rude to not have something for them to hold on to. Hopefully someone out there has some info.

I run that rack and back rest, I love it.
But I have yet to buy any saddle bags.
But I figure I'll just buy the ones I want and make them work.
