I have a vtxr08 with 63000 miles in the last three months I have replaced the head light which broke around the base and the windshield has cracked all the way across it replaced with new one and then I noticed a crack in the fender from the mounting bolt half way up the fender and then the mounting brackets for the windshield has broken. Parts are brake faster than I can afford them. :banghead:

That doesn't surprise me. 63,000 miles on Texas roads, I surprised you haven't had problems sooner. Texas has got the worst darn roads many of which turn to gravel after a while. You traveling those as well?

I live west of S.A. in the Hill country road are pretty good around here.

If they;ve been over-tightened (or even if they're a little loose) that can cause them to crack when you hit some bumps or big ones.
Speedo housing cracked on mine, but that was either mine or someone elses fault.
