Has anyone tried to put the left side plug covers on the right side of the engine? I ask because - thought- :hmm2: I have seen the hurricane air cleaner on the 1300c and found it very appealing EXCEPT that the notches in the plug covers, which provide room for the stock air cleaner, look anything but correct. And buying a couple of the left side covers would be an easy cure for this if it worked. Anyone try this? Hmm? Anyone?

Just go to you're bike and try it .


I doubt they'll fit though.

I doubt that the covers are interchangable since they have different part numbers.

Assume I am laziest man in the world and don't want to spend 45 mins removing aircleaner, covers, eetc. I figured someone out there might know... And didn't know they were different part numbers - good info, Thanks. That makes sense only if they are different. Well, back to the drawing board.

The posts that insert into the fins are placed differently. Already checked that out a long time ago. It can be done, however, if you take your time with a dremel, and some JB Weld.
