i saw a slingshot "in person" yesterday for the first time, real quick passing in the opposite direction. that type of three wheeler appeals to me best of the types i've seen (compared to a regular trike or can-am i mean). i think cash not withstanding though, i'd still choose a t-rex over it.

One of my friends was looking at buying one and Connecticut DMV made a decision not to allow them to be registered in the state due to they consider it a car and it doesn't meet that standard. They don't consider it a motorcycle due to side by side seething and few other things I guess.

Saw one yesterday as I was heading out for my first twisty shake down ride after all my winter mods. Definitely an interesting looking beast. I'd like to drive one at some point. Notice I said drive not ride. It's a car.

Talk about coincidence... I was riding Sunday with Cueballblaster when we passed the Polaris he is talking about... and we discussed it when we stopped at the top of Hanging Rock State Park. Like him, I think it's more of a car than a bike.

Fast Forward: I was playing pool with a friend on Friday (3/27). We have talked bikes before, as he used to have an orange VTX 1800.. not sure what year/ model, and he currently has a Suzuki 650. Anyway, He blurts out... "hey I got a new motorcycle"... Of course, I asked him what kind... He say's "Polaris Slingshot!".. I had to laugh... I asked him.. "Were you at Hanging Rock around noon last weekend?" He say's "Yeah... why?". I had to tell him we had seen it at the entrance of the park as we were going in and he was coming out.

We talked for an hour about the "bike".. how it rides, how fast, comfort, and handling. He says it corners like nothing he's ever ridden. I've been invited to ride it sometime..and I think I'll take him up on it soon.
