Need help please! I have a 2003 vtx1800r with a fairing and I have read about a million posts about front suspension. I'm getting my fork seals done in two weeks and I figured it would be the best time to get new springs as well. what is the general recommendation as far as springs go. If I go with race tech there is no way I can afford the gold valves or whatever they are. Also the shop I'm taking it too recommended that I order bushings as theyre prob shot with the 20,000 miles it has on it. Is this bs or legit? Thanks in advance.

As far as bushings being shot at 20K that is debatable but possible (assume your talking for the rear shocks)

As for the springs, I only have experience with Progressive and absolutely love them.

all balls bearings and progressive springs...do it all while you're in there and you'll like the new ride ;)
