Question regarding revs

When I crank the throttle, my RPMs climb pretty quickly and then seem to slow from 5000 up. Do your bikes wind up evenly or is my tuning screwed up? Just wondering.

Rev Limiter...

I have reved past 5000 and never hit the rev limiter. I'll take her out for a spin and let you know what it revs to.
