I have an HID headlight thay I got from motorcyclehidlights.com and just added a fairing with stereo. The HID is the type with the standard high beam and HID low beam. With the low beam on (HID) the radio signal is weak. With the high beam on (Standard non HID) the signal is fine. I have checked mt wiring and grounds and all looks good. I have the balast as far back as the wires will allow. It's mounted to the top of my air box. Does anyone know how to fix this? Will a noise filter on the power wire to the stereo help? Thanks:banghead:

Your problem is from the frequency that the ballast puts out from the HID there are different frequency ballasts but its hard to say I have a problem in my truck as well so it really doesn't matter where you put the ballast. I know there is a kit you can get that is not supposed to interfere with the radio frequency but have not tried it yet
