Ok, so I have a 1300s, I'm gonna need to replace my rear fender some point (there's a number of places where rust is bubbling through and the paint is flaking off) and I've always quite fancied the look of the low-slung fenders (front and rear). Are there any options out there which would fit with the stock bracket and seat or would I have to look at upgrading seat and modifying stuff to fit (websites are never clear)? Lots of good looking fenders out there, like the gravediggers pictured, but they're all a pretty expensive way of finding out it's not gonna fit or look the part, ya know? I was really just wondering if anyone was familiar with any of these and how straightforward they are to fit? Thanks!

If you already have the "S" fenders why not just replace them with the same style fenders, ("R or S" are the exact same fender) that are not rusting through? There are a number of motorcycle salvage dealers who sell original parts and you will know that it will fit and you might even score one that happens to be the right color. And if you replace the rear fender with another OE fender you will not have to worry about replacing the front fender since it is plastic and not steel, so it can not be rusted!!!!!

Thanks man, but what I'm trying to get at is that I'd like to replace the stock fender with something different such as the one pictured (I like the look of the low ones), but no idea how straightforward a job it would/should be...? Like, are there any out there which would be a relatively straight swap or are we talking about modding frames/brackets/seats etc to accommodate in most cases?

Sorry Dr, I can't help you there, I am perfectly happy with the look of the Retro fender. Hopefully someone more into modding will be along soon to help you!!!!!

Isn't that an 1800N fender? I wonder if you can get it and adapt it to the 1300.

That is an Undertaker rear fender. try this web site phatpartsoutlet.com Look under Honda then the right hand side and you'll see the fender. They have them for the 1300's and the 1800's
