Rear tire has a leak. About every 3 days it needs pumped up. I've looked it over and don't see anything in it. Any suggesstion?
Did you check the valve stem or valve core? Get a bucket with just a little water and some dish washing soap (a good bit of soap) and wet the tire down slowly covering the entire area of the tire and along the rim watching for bubbles. If you have lift it will make this much easier. This should find the leak.

Three questions:
Do you have to flex the valve stem to air it up?
Is the tire getting old (tire mfr date on sidewall)? http://blog.unsafemotorcycles.com/2010/09/motorcycle-tires-age-matters.html the "3505" is 35th week of 05.
Is the tire wearing out?

If you have to flex the stem to fill it, there may be a leak there (If the valve stem is leaking, look into an angled or shorty valve stem).
If its old, different folks say 6 to 10 years is too old, or worn out or wearing out, I'd say just have it replaced.

Best of luck.

Was the tire mounted recently? Many installers fail to clean the bead area of the rim when installing tires. Every time a tire is removed from the wheel, it leaves some rubber stuck to it. This keeps the new tire bead from sealing properly.

I've had the tire for just over a year, about 10,000 miles. Topped off the air early March at the start of riding season. Then noticed it was a little low at the Aug tech session. Added air. Then it's increased from there. Haven't had a problem adding air. I'll have to try the water/soap test. Can't afford to take it to a shop right now.

I know there are a lot of doubters out there but use green slime (not fix-a-flat). Follow the directions on the bottle and your troubles are over. I got 10K to 12K on most of my tires so you're getting close to getting a new one.

I used Slime with a plug in my rear tire that started leaking and it lasted maybe a week before I started losing air again.

I would check the vavle core first as well. I had the same symptoms after adding dyna beads and it was because I didnt seat the core properly. Simple fix if that is it. I hope you figure it out and that its nothing major.
