Hey all! On Aug. 1st 2009 there is a ride for the VFW in Reedsburg WI.

The VFW is trying to raise enough money for a memorial in Reedsburg, WI.

I am not affiliated with this group but have interacted with them in the past and have noticed they're working very hard to achieve this goal. (One of their members alerted me and a riding partner when I was sitting on my bike in a gas station parking lot to tell me about this event.)

According to the site registration is at 1130 AM, leaves at 1PM, and gets back around 6PM.

1st ride was a success. The folks did a great job. Road guard all synchronized.

The ride lasted around a hundred miles. We had a HMMV for setting the pace.

There will be one next year, hopefully more bikes. They're planning it after Sturgis.
