Well I fix one problem and another pops up. I love working on my vtx but sometimes I just want things to run. Anyone else feel like that?
I have read some posts on here about having to replace the vacuum line on the Kury Hypercharger. It seems I am now in this same boat. When I was putting the intake back on after rejetting the carb, the vacuum line practically crumbled in my fingers. Now the baffles on the hypercharger stay open all the time.
Number one: Where can I get replacement vacuum line and what size do I need?
Number two: The bike runs fine with the baffles open on the hypercharger. I'm actually thinking the engine can get more air at all rpm's with the baffles open all the time. Is there a downside to plugging the vacuum line and keeping them open?
I appreciate all the help you guys on the forum provide. You have given this novice rider the confidence and know-how to experiment and really understand what makes the bike go. Can't thank you guys enough.
