You're going to be home coming right by Tuscaloosa on your way to Birmingham.. Feel free to stop in depending on what time you pass through. Are you staying in Birmingham that night? Contact me if you don't have specific plans for that leg of the ride.

I hope the weather holds up for you!
Thanks, we try not to mention weather so I don't get jinxed.

But I do have a hauler on standby if I end up needing it. The original plan was to store it in TX for the winter then ride home in the spring. An friend told me that would be the longest winter of my life. Sooooo I opted to ride it for a week east bound and store it with family in FL.

Pft... family....

Instead I just bring it home and stare at it in my own garage all winter long. :)

Thanks. Spring time run I'd detour but I think I'm pushing my luck with the time of year. I'm bettin odds I'll be OK. How often do we wonder if it'll be a white Christmas? And I'll be home 2 weeks prior to that.

But with questions like epiphysis' I'm bound to get jinxed.

Seller & I are still trying to figure that out. Not sure if someone was trying to scam ME or us both. Apparently this person contacted seller from an old for sale listing - seller forgot it was still up. Either told seller he was picking it up for me (no f'in way) or trying to buy it out from under me.

Edit:
Now that I know who he is I'm debating on what else to say/do.

I'm curious as hell to find out where this goes. It would really suck if Papalonis somehow got screwed on this deal. Hard to remember a guy that excited about getting a bike and riding it from Tx. to NH. in December.

Best of luck and I hope it works out the way you want it too.

That's a deja vu. I remember looking into a bike with a U.K. seller, but the bike was to be shipped from Florida. The responses seemed very scripted and suspicious, so I dropped it. I seem to recall that it was a "too good to be true price" actually.

Hope that's not what happened. You sounded very excited to get the bike.

Seller is solid. I will not go into detail in public (now) how I know this, but I know he is solid.

This guy "Paul" is new here. I know his member name, I know when he joined, I know he has yet to post anything. I know he either sold or is selling a 2006 Suzuki C50 Boulevard and looking for a VTX.

What I don't know is if he was trying to talk the seller into letting him buy from under me or if he was trying to convince seller he was picking up for me.

I also know he's watching me....
