A group of bikes left Friday from just north of me on their way to the Rally
14 people on 12 bikes.

Report was a 63 year old on a HD hit the pavement on the interstate and a 50 year old rider behind him ran over him.

The 63 year old didn't make it the 50 year old is in critical condition.

I feel sorry for the family of both

I looked and couldn't get any info other than he hit the pavement.

This is the first of the riding season for most up here so it could have been the cobwebs from a long wet winter.

Sorry to hear this. I feel for both families.

This isn't a story I'd share with my wife. She has this awful fear of running over a rider in her car or seeing it happen. She actually has nightmares about it...irrational, but there you go.

This is why I don't like riding in groups, but I guess anything can happen at any time. Prayers sent for the families.

Prayers all around; But on the bright side; you only get to die once. Motorcycle beats the heck out of cancer. Amen. Plus, I'll second the thought things can go wrong quick in a group.
