every where you go prices are jumping beyound measure. i was thinking of adding a set of 1800f sidecovers on my c and wow did they shoot me down. Almost $400 for plastic side covers give me a break. I only paid $8000 for my 1800c new. I have been adding aftermarket parts much less cost than honda line parts. I guess if you like the hobby you pay for it. I only paid $852 for a new kawaski h2 new in 1972, for those of you that are not fimilar with the h2 it is a 750cc 2 cycle 3 cyl. fastest thing on the market at the time. I suppose I just have to save a little longer

WOW somebody else actually had and H2 ? I did too ! That thing would rip your hands off the handlebars when you hit the powerband. Great bike ! I am sure it would eat an 1800 for breakfast. Wish I had kept that bike.

I agree bike prices are creeping up. Motorcycles are definately better now than 30 years ago but we are all paying the price. My wife and I were just talking about gold wing prices, well over 20k for some models for '06. You can get a well equipped accord for less!! I appreciate suzuki & kawasaki for maintaining some of their older designs in their line up. Katana's, Concours, klr's, offer old technology but excellent values.
